As a welding coordinator at VandeGrijp you have a broad role. You are responsible for all welding processes that take place within the company, which means that you keep all procedures and work instructions in accordance with the standards and specifications.

About a position

At VandeGrijp we work according to Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM), where reducing the lead time is paramount. Collaboration between the various departments to optimize the process is therefore commonplace within VandeGrijp. As a welding coordinator you make a major contribution to this by choosing and identifying the right welding processes, including in consultation with VandeGrijp's customers.

In addition, you are responsible for recording and administering the welder and welder qualifications and you ensure that the welders continue to meet the requirements set for VandeGrijp. In the role of welding coordinator, you receive guidance from colleagues and other welding experts, but you also have to be strong yourself.

Wat wij van jou vragen

Minimaal niveau IW-T met ervaring als lascoördinator of vergelijkbare functie.
Uitgebreide kennis van en interesse in lastechnieken, lasmaterialen en lasapparatuur.
Bekendheid met normen en specificaties op het gebied van lassen waaronder ISO 3834, ISO 5817, ISO 9606, ISO 14732, EN 1090.
Probleemoplossende en communicatieve vaardigheden om effectief samen te werken met verschillende belanghebbenden.
Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
Je bent proactief: je wilt het beste halen uit de lassers en de beschikbare processen en machines.
Energiek: je hebt zin om lasprocessen te verbeteren en het team te motiveren.
